It is the policy of Elkhart County to only accept applications for available positions that we have posted.
Once an applicant has applied for a vacant position, Elkhart County’s online application service, Applitrack maintains resumes and applications on active status for a period of one year from the date of the original application. Applications submitted to our Human Resources Department also remain active for a period of one year from the original date of the application. If during that time you wish to be considered for another position you can log in to your Applitrack account and submit your application for that position. If you have submitted an application to Human Resources you should contact us (by telephone, e-mail or in person) and request your application be submitted for the opening.
